MassCare Ltd is a young company built on a strong foundation of many years of experience. Its founder and Director, Dr Peter Robinson, has worked in Mass Spectrometry for over 25 years, mostlyin the field of Glow Discharge Mass Spectrometry [GDMS].

Having spent most of these years working within the limitations of a large company environment, Peter has now set up MassCare with a view to offering a more flexible solution to your problems. By using experience gained and contacts made, MassCare can now offer a full range of services.

The main drive of the business is the support of Mass Spectrometer instruments, in particular GDMS. However, Peter also has direct experience of ICP-MS, both quadrupole and sector analysers. In addition, as Mass Spectrometry has evolved over the years, a lot of commonality has appeared. For example many Gas and Thermal Ionisation systems have common mechanical and electronic components, and hence the same solutions to the problem of obsolescence apply.

In addition, Peter has years of experience in Vacuum systems and can offer advice for your needs, or can even design and produce the perfect system for you.
 
Finally, the development of the GDMS support business has led to the formation of a network of workshop facilities. This allows MassCare to help with the design and manufacture of small components that you need quickly. In some cases where specialist materials are needed it may be that MassCare has stock or can obtain stock quickly.
